Education

I am currently in my final year of the Community Worker Program at George Brown College. Over the course of this incredible program, I have gained and practiced a wide array of skills pertaining to social service work and community activism. Included amongst these skills are group facilitation, campaign designing, individual counselling & other interpersonal skills, digital community outreach, development of community organizations/ services, multi-scaled lenses of political science, and an understanding of climate justice. The different projects I have completed for these subjects are in line with the type of work that goes into the field. This program also comes with 600+ required hours of field placement experience, which has given me additional experience with the various skillsets and disciplines that are involved in Community Work.
